I few things here in Spain that have made us laugh...
-Brent went to make home teaching visits. The dad for one of his families said that mornings were not a good time. So Brent asked him if 1:30 was ok? The dad responded again that mornings weren't good. Fearing that he'd been misunderstood him Brent asked again if 1:30 was ok. This time Brent's H.T. companion who was standing nearby cut in and said aren't you listening....mornings aren't good. Later Brent asked his companion when does the afternoon begin and he said 4:30. We have found that every thing is about 2 + hours later. People don't eat dinner here until 9:00 pm or later. Getting up early in the morning is 8. Spain is the only mission in the entire world where missionaries don't follow the schedule in the handbook. They have to be up by 7:30 with lights out at 11:30 pm.
-When we were in Barcelona Mckenzie was at the hotel desk where we were staying she overheard the lady at the desk tell some tourists that the tour busses stop for the day at 9 in the afternoon.
-Brent was driving with a guy in the ward and he was telling him about getting a Spanish driving license. He told Brent to make sure that when he takes his driving exam not to run red lights. Running red lights is rampant. People stop and then they continue as if it were a stop sign.
-Driving home tonight we just saw a police car with a headlight out. Never see that in the states.
Just some of the things I remember of the top of my head.

We have been so busy for the last month. We went to Black Butte with Mark's Family, then we went to Utah with My family, then we went canoeing with the Summer's down the John Day river. Sara Summers made a video and put it on you-tube. search for john day river ragging river. Last weekend we had 7 soccer games between Mac and Olsen. This weekend was the first weekend since you have been gone that we had a free night. Mark and I were so board. We were missing our good buddies the Dixon's to go out to dinner with. Hope you are all doing well.
